Buduriya central college is a government school located in Mawanella. Mawanella belongs to the Kegalle district in the Sabaragamuwa province . This school is located in the center of Kiringadeniya. Baduriya celebrated its 100 th year in 2020. This college started as a result of the educational reform that was brought along with the 1920 political reforms. The school was started as a religious school and then developed into what it is today. Buduriya is a prestigious school in Mawanella. This is one of the main schools in the area that most of the students in Mawanella attend. Considering that this is a Muslim school by nature, students from all religions and ethnicity attend this school. This school is led by Mr. ALM Abdurrahman; who is the principal of this school.
