Buduriya central college is a government school located in mawanella. Mawanella belongs to the Kegalle
district in the Sabaragamuwa province. This school is located in the center of Kiringadeniya. Baduriya
celebrated its 100th year in 2020. This College started as a result of the educational reform that was brought
along with the 1920 political reforms. The school was started as a religious school and then developed into
what it is today. Buduriya is a prestigious school in Mawanella.  This is one of the main schools in the area that most of the students in Mawanella
attend. Considering that this is a Muslim school by nature , students from all religions and ethnicity
attend this school. This school is lead by Mr A L M Abdurrahman; who is the principal of this school.
